Dr. Monte’ Demars
Connally Junior High Principal – mdemars@connally.org
Dr. Monte' L. Demars is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in school leadership, campus transformation, and instructional improvement. A former teacher and campus administrator, he has a proven track record of leading school turnaround efforts, strengthening campus culture, and improving student achievement. Throughout his career, Dr. Demars has successfully implemented systems that increased academic performance, reduced disciplinary incidents, and empowered educators to reach their fullest potential. Known for his transformational leadership style and commitment to developing both students and staff, Dr. Demars brings experience and passion for continuous improvement that will be a valuable asset in advancing the mission and continued success of Connally ISD.
Elizabeth Brownlee

Elizabeth Brownlee is an experienced educational leader with 14 years of service in public education. A former teacher, school counselor, and campus leader, she has a proven track record of supporting student success through academic guidance, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and college- and career-readiness. Most recently serving as Lead Counselor and Testing Coordinator at Gatesville High School, Mrs. Brownlee has focused on helping students discover their strengths while developing the skills needed for success beyond graduation. Known for her relationship-driven leadership style and commitment to student growth, Mrs. Brownlee brings experience and passion for empowering students that will be a valuable asset in advancing the mission and continued success of Connally ISD.
Mirtha Brown

Mirtha Brown is a dedicated educational leader with more than 20 years of experience in bilingual education. A former Newcomers RLA teacher and experienced campus administrator, she has devoted her career to supporting and empowering students from diverse backgrounds while helping English learners develop the skills and confidence needed for success. Inspired by educators and leaders who encouraged her own growth, Mrs. Brown brings a relationship-driven leadership style centered on perseverance, inclusion, and helping others reach their full potential. Known for creating supportive learning environments where students and educators feel valued and encouraged, Mrs. Brown’s experience and passion for serving others will be a valuable asset in advancing Connally ISD's mission and continued success.
